Clean the strawberries and put them on the side. Place the rest of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and whip them with wooden spatula until they become soft homogeneous cream with fluffy peaks.
Cut cross-shaped triangles into the strawberries and fill the inside with the mascarpone lemon cream. Arrange the strawberries in an ice cream dish over a layer of cream and decorate with sliced lemon. Enjoy!

1 cup mascarpone cheese (8 ounces)
2 cups heavy cream
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 pound fresh strawberries
